UK industry veteran, Rob Garvie joined the NBCUniversal family in November 2021 as the new Director of Universal Productions Services UK after a long career in film equipment rental, spanning over 30 years. During this time, Rob has supported hundreds of productions, servicing feature films, from major motion pictures to small independent films and many UK television shows. He has worked for such reputable companies as Panavision, Grip House, Samuelson Film Services, and Panalux Lighting.
Rob's fascination with filmmaking began at the tender age of 12, using the family's 8mm cinefilm camera to create fun home movies starring friends from school.
Rob and his team at Universal Production Services are all keen to demonstrate their dedication to serving the film and television industry in the UK and beyond, with a friendly smile and a warm welcome.
